I am a certified nutrition coach and health and wellness expert. I am passionate about helping busy people find balance and simplicity with food and live the healthy, active and intentional life they have always wanted.
When I was a kid I didn't grow up with healthy balanced living in mind. My mother ran from diet to diet and exercise program to exercise program but still fed me and my sister processed snacks and loads of sugar. With that foundation I didn't have the best relationship with food and my health was directly affected as I suffered from severe asthma as a kid. I was lucky however to be active and play sports as a child. As I got older I was able to play college basketball and keep active but once that ended I didn't know where to turn. I became a product of my upbringing with trying fad diets and challenges and not leaving the gym until I burned 1,000 calories. Fast forward to a couple years after college and I quickly realized that lifestyle was not sustainable, fun, or empowering.
Present day, I am a full time working class woman with 2 kids (3 years old & 1 year old). I know the importance of what I am trying to achieve and offer because I live it everyday. I have made gradual lifestyle changes that are all based on real world experiences, including fitness, sports, cooking and cleaning, deep ongoing consistent product research, education, and mental health all of which adds to why I am doing what I am. I want other women to know that a healthy lifestyle is achievable and sustainable not just for themselves but for their families as well.
